Departure your hand, weathered, withered,
long overworked, now laid to rest
on my young, lazy knee;
and in your sky-coloured eyes
the sparkle of your smile, the sun that's now set.

cuffed, anchored by the
chastity gallows unbalancing the hands.

hold your breath
bob the sour apple
sink your teeth in
pierce the shielding skin
ravage the yielding flesh
Slaughter "there!" you crow, "another spark!"
(a mere postmortem twitch of tendon)
and ZIP whip about and piss out
the hopeless speck of life
Acting I'm always wrong.
fall prey to plagues, diseases,
your lipsvilevial,
slow acting poison.

Mystic do we flow from one river or two, tumbling confusedly where we meet? a lump like your teeth closing on my throat chokes me, bruises me.
Plateaus we sweat; the heat is always on.
the hot-coal earth throws us forever forward
while our hearts fall behind,
withering, dying, ignored.
Exit Wound my eyes bled tears
as my fingers, not my lips,
bled words this dawn.
